how much freedom is normal for (unschooled) teens?

Someone elsewhere asked a question about how much freedom was ‘normal’ for teens - and it got me thinking about how with unschooling, it might be tricky to discern any sense of normal at all!

Eric Foreman’s basement was just, ‘the place to be, man’.

So I thought I'd share about how things are evolving around here, with my now-17-year old as the current example.
